How many of you have incorporated the theories of behavioral finance into your advising toolbox?

There is much to be gained for you and your client.

I'm curious about how you do this.  Which theories specifically, and how have you built them into your practice?  Is it part of your toolset now, or are you talking about something less tangible?

Yes it is a big part of what I do. I'd suggest you subscribe to Nick Murray Interactive newsletter, pricey but extremely useful.  Just Google the name to see sample content. In addition I have collected a lot of articles, videos on the topic

You can access them here:

My whole first interview has changed, I asked significantly more open ended questions than before, I share concepts  that focus on how bad behavior can impact wealth and my role is to help client avoid bad behaviour.

Part of what is in this article I use to make some points about bad behaviour.

You can follow me on twitter @gbgorr

I write often on how I use the knowledge and follow many professors from the US who also write about it.

Hope this helps a bit.

Ok people, I need your help, honestly assess your expertise at driving a car. Results will be shared later.

There is a behavioral finance lesson to be learned from this and your answers will help me in the article I am working on.
