More than 30,000 Berkshire Hathaway investors are expected in Omaha, Nebraska, May 3 for the company’s annual shareholders’ meeting, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Local hotels and airlines see the sudden influx as an opportunity to jack up rates. Berkshire head Warren Buffett doesn’t like the idea of his investors being taken advantage of, so he’s suggesting they use online services like Airbnb to get a better deal, says WSJ.

Airbnb allows Omaha residents to offer their homes and spare bedrooms for rent, often for much less than a hotel room would cost.

Berkshire’s own companies offer discounts that weekend.
