At the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Samsung Electronics unveiled it’s looking at developing high-tech sensors that can detect dozens of different smells, reports The Wall Street Journal.

Already, devices have the ability to detect people’s movements and voices, so B.K. Yoon, co-chief executive of Samsung Electronics, says sensitivity to smell could also be useful.

On top of that, the company wants to embed Internet connectivity in all of its TVs by 2017, and in other home appliances. Read more.
