Mackenzie Investments is hiring Michael Schnitman as senior vice president of product.

He’ll lead product strategy starting June 2.

And Su McVey is Mackenzie’s new senior vice president of marketing. She’ll oversee all of Mackenzie’s marketing, starting June 11.

“We’ve separated the product and marketing team into two distinct divisions and brought a dedicated executive focus to each,” says Jeffrey Carney, CEO, Mackenzie Investments.

Since 1997, Schnitman worked at Putnam Investments in Boston, most recently as senior vice president, Product Strategy and Development.

McVey has more than 25 years of financial services marketing and advertising experience. Most recently, she was vice president of Customer Communications and Marketing with BMO Bank Financial Group.

As part of this reorganization, Mary Taylor, currently executive vice president, Product and Marketing, will be leaving the company on May 23. Mary led several initiatives during her three years at Mackenzie, including simplifying and enhancing the fund line up in 2013.
