Facebook is testing a “Want” button for online retailers, reports Financial Times.
Perhaps competing with popular photo-sharing site, Pintrest, the new Facebook feature allows consumers to add product images to an online wish list.
The launch is part of a test series called Collections. The series includes three buttons: Want, Collect and the already widely used Like. Clicking one of these buttons will add the product image to a section of the user’s Timeline profile page, reports Financial Times.
The retailers working with Facebook on Collections include: Neiman Marcus, Victoria’s Secret, Pottery Barn and Fab.com.
No date has been set for a wider rollout.
