This year’s Ignition conference in New York featured a presentation by Henry Blodget, CEO and EIC of Business Insider, on emerging trends in the mobile market.

Some highlights include data showing smartphone sales “blowing past” PC sales, and tablets driving growth in the PC market.

It also discusses what your clients are doing on their mobile devices. They’re not only playing games and listening to music, but are also consuming a broad range of content online.

With everything from health information to job postings now available, people are also more than willing to pay for quick, easy access.

Sending content that clients can view via their devices is crucial, and finding ways to incorporate ad revenue will be the next step for may business and media outlets not already on the bandwagon.
