It’s now more difficult to sync your Twitter and LinkedIn accounts.
Until last Friday, users could choose to have their LinkedIn statuses automatically update every time they tweeted. So if you tweeted “@advisorca is the best news source,” your LinkedIn status would read the same.
But as explained in a LinkedIn blog post, that won’t happen anymore. Turns out, Twitter wants to focus on “providing the core Twitter consumption experience through a consistent set of products and tools.”
What to do now?
“Initiate the conversation on LinkedIn,” the company suggests. “Simply compose your update, check the box with the Twitter icon, and click “Share.” This will automatically push your update to both your LinkedIn connections and your Twitter followers just as you’ve been able to do previously.”
