He says there’s no evidence that Canada is being used as a tax haven by Americans or Canadians of U.S. origin.

One in thirty Canadians is affected by FATCA, he reports.  And the legislation was embedded in this spring’s budget implementation bill, meaning it didn’t get a dedicated  Parliamentary debate.
