Brian See, CFA | Vice President, Equities — Energy

Brian See is lead manager of the CIBC Energy Fund and co-manages the Renaissance Global Resource and CIBC Canadian Resources Funds. He is also responsible for research coverage of the global energy sector.

Mr. See, who joined CIBC in 2013, has been analyzing the energy industry since 2004. Most recently, Mr. See was Principal at OMERS Capital Markets, where he provided global energy coverage on E&P, integrateds, oil sands and refining companies. His previous experience includes coverage of the large-cap Canadian energy sector as a Senior Research Associate at Scotia Capital. Mr. See’s industry experience includes analyst roles with Petro-Canada (Suncor Energy) and Canadian Pacific Railway Limited.

Mr. See holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary. He is a CFA charterholder and a CFA Society Toronto member.
