Trevor Bateman is a senior credit analyst responsible for various sectors in the investment grade corporate bond universe. He conducts in-depth, fundamental research, and contributes to idea generation for portfolios.

Prior to joining CIBC Asset Management in 2014, Mr. Bateman worked at BMO Capital Markets as Director of Corporate Debt Research and at CIBC World Markets as the Executive Director, Fixed Income and Currencies. He began his career as a Senior Accountant with Price Waterhouse.

Mr. Bateman holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto. He is a Chartered Accountant, a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Society of Toronto. Mr. Bateman also served as the president of Toronto CFA Society during 2005 – 2006.
