Advisor’s Edge shortlisted as Publication of the Year

Advisor’s Edge has been shortlisted as Publication of the Year by CFA Society Toronto, and its editor-in-chief, Melissa Shin, shortlisted as Journalist of the Year.

An investigation, “How banned IIROC and MFDA advisors can still sell insurance,” has also been shortlisted for CFA Society Toronto’s Spirit of the Future of Finance award. The award is meant to support the CFA Institute’s efforts “to shape a trustworthy, forward-thinking financial industry that better serves society.”

The other two finalists for the Publication of the Year are Bloomberg News and MoneySense magazine.

Other finalists for the Journalist of the Year are Dan Bortolotti, MoneySense and Maciej Onoszko, Bloomberg News.
