Aston Hill’s COO retiring

Aston Hill Financial has announced the retirement of Neil Murdoch from his role as COO of Aston Hill, president of Aston Hill Asset Management and CEO of Aston Hill Capital Markets, effective December 31, 2015.

Murdoch joined Aston Hill in August 2013 through the company’s acquisition of Connor, Clark & Lunn Capital Markets. He was appointed to the role of COO in September 2014.

Following his departure, Interim CFO Derek Slemko will be appointed as COO. For his part, Slemko joined Aston Hill in 2006 as Corporate Controller, and he has held several roles focused on both finance and operations since then. staff
