BMO InvestorLine has launched a free mobile investing app for its independent investors.

It’s available for Apple, Blackberry and Android devices or any browser-enabled phone.

The app allows clients to access their holdings page, view real-time quotes and charts, and execute equity, option and mutual fund trades.

More than two-thirds of Canadians own a mobile device, finds a BMO survey, and 70% of phone owners say they use mobile banking apps. Most users log into their banking app at least once a week.
