Capital Business Solutions to merge with MNP LLP

Capital Business Solutions (CBS) Inc., an Edmonton-based firm confirmed its merger with MNP LLP, one of Canada’s largest chartered accountancy and consulting firms, effective September 1, 2011.

“This merger allows us to strategically grow the firm by adding more resources and expertise to better serve the needs of the marketplace,” said Daryl Ritchie, chief executive officer of MNP. “As with MNP, CBS has a strong mid-market focus and we’re looking forward to working together to better serve our clients.”

Specializing in serving Western Canada and the mid-market, CBS provides corporate finance solutions, commercial mortgages, business sale advisory, consulting and executive recruitment in addition to temporary manpower to the heavy industrial and mining sectors.
