Howe Institute as its new vice-president of Economic Analysis. By Staff | May 11, 2015 | Last updated on May 11, 2015 1 min read Effective September 14, 2015, economist Craig Alexander will join C.D. Howe Institute as its new vice-president of Economic Analysis. In his new role, Alexander will provide oversight of the institute’s research councils, and says he’ll aim to advance the company’s work as it relates to economic and social policy. Alexander comes to C.D. Howe from TD Bank Group, where he serves as senior vice-president and chief economist. In a statement on Twitter this morning, he announced, “I have accepted a senior position at C.D. Howe Institute starting in September.
