First Asset introduces investment-grade bond ETF

First Asset Investment Management has announced that the First Asset Investment Grade Bond ETF has started trading on the TSX, under the symbol FIG.

Marret Asset Management Inc. will continue to provide portfolio management services to the fund, and Paul Sandhu, vice-President and portfolio manager at Marret, will continue as lead portfolio manager.

Under normal market conditions, this ETF will be primarily invested in investment-grade bonds and other investment-grade debt securities.

The conversion of the Marret Investment Grade Bond Fund into this ETF was approved in May.
