Have $400,000? Buy this town

The town of Swett, South Dakota is on the market, says the Rapid City Journal.

About two hours south of Rapid City, the town of Swett – population: 2 – has one bar, one house and takes up about six acres.

Owner Lance Benson regrets having to put the town on the market, reports the Rapid City Journal, but wants to focus on his travel concession business.

Swett’s two citizens, Benson and his wife, want a buyer to keep the local flavour.

They’re asking for $400,000 for the entire town – but act fast, because Benson says if Swett isn’t sold in its first year on the market, he may decide to keep it after all.
