Horvat leaves Sprott

Sprott Asset Management has announced the departure of Jamie Horvat from the firm, leaving Charles Oliver as sole lead portfolio manager of the Sprott Gold & Precious Minerals Fund/Class and the Sprott All Cap Fund.

Horvat and Oliver worked together at AGF before joining Sprott in January 2008.

Oliver will continue to call upon the investing expertise of Eric Sprott, Paul Wong, Rick Rule, and geologists Andy Jackson and Neil Adshead.

John Wilson, who recently assumed the lead portfolio manager position from Jamie Horvat on the Sprott Opportunities Funds, will continue in this role.
