Industry veteran and CEO passes away

The president and CEO of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, Jean Robillard, passed away on Monday following a rapidly progressive illness.

Robillard, 58, had led the firm since 2008. Prior to his CEO appointment, he worked within the company’s recovery and reorganization group for 22 years.

RCGT has 2,300 employees and a total of 90 offices in Québec, eastern Ontario and New Brunswick.

There’s been no comment on the firm’s future plans or about his replacement.
