Mackenzie Investments hires PM

Mackenzie Investments has hired Ashley Misquitta as vice president, Investment Management. Pending registration, he will become lead portfolio manager, Mackenzie US Growth Class.

Until recently, Misquitta had been co-manager of a US equity fund at a Canadian investment firm, where he’d worked since 2008. Prior to that, he spent four years at two of Canada’s major financial institutions as an equity research associate.

“Ashley’s deep knowledge of all the key sectors of the US market clearly complements the Growth Team,” says team lead Mark Grammer. “He will make a strong contribution across our growth fund lineup.”
