Manulife Financial Corporation and the Manufacturers Life Insurance Company have appointed P. Thomas Jenkins to their board of directors, effective March 1, 2015.

Jenkins is the chairman of OpenText Corporation and he’s served as a member of its board since 1994. He also served as president and CEO of OpenText for 11 years, and is currently a member of the board of Thomson Reuters and TransAlta Corporation.
