Manulife appoints Payette as Quebec CEO

Manulife Financial Corporation has named Richard Payette as its new president and CEO for Quebec.

Payette, who has more than 30 years’ experience in business management, transformation, leadership and mergers and acquisitions, will report to chief executive Marianne Harrison.

He previously worked at tax and advisory firm BDO and most recently served as CEO for the Americas region for BDO International. Before that, he was chief executive of Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton.
