Manulife boosts its Hong Kong team

Manulife Asset Management today announced the appointment of Kisoo Park as managing director and portfolio manager for the Global Multi-Sector Fixed Income.

Park has more than 20 years of experience in foreign exchange and global fixed income and will be based in Hong Kong to provide support in the areas of global bond and foreign exchange research.

“I’ve known Kisoo as a business and industry colleague for more than 20 years and I am thrilled to have him join our team,” said Daniel S. Janis III, head, Global Multi-Sector Fixed Income. “He has an exceptional depth and breadth of experience in the foreign exchange markets and global fixed income. We already have an outstanding team in Asia, and the addition of Kisoo and his years of experience only serves to further strengthen our on the ground presence to the benefit of our clients.”

The Global Multi-Sector Fixed Income team manages assets for institutional clients and Manulife and John Hancock investment funds globally. The team’s strategy seeks to provide competitive returns by investing in a portfolio of global government and corporate bonds, including emerging markets and high yield securities.
