Matrix Asset Management names new senior vice president

Matrix Asset Management has appointed Wan Kim as senior vice president of national sales and marketing.

Wan joined Matrix this past January as national vice president of business development, and has more than 20 years of experience in the investment industry.

Before joining the company, he was senior vice president and national sales manager at a Canadian mutual fund company, overseeing 54 consecutive net positive months of mutual fund sales though 2004-2010. He was a director on 13 Flow Through Limited Partnerships, and two TSX-listed, closed-end funds.

Wan has also had experience as an investment advisor and branch manager.
