MFDA board names new members

The MFDA’s board of directors has named Steven Donald as chair and Christopher Nicholls as vice-chair.

Donald is the president of Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and president of CI Private Counsel. Before joining Assante in 2003, Donald held senior financial roles in the mutual fund and technology industries.

Nicholls is a professor of business law at Western University as well as head of Research and Policy for the Capital Markets Institute of Rotman School of Management. He has practiced corporate and securities law in Toronto and as an attorney in Bermuda.
