Murdoch to step down as 21st Century Fox CEO

Rupert Murdoch is planning to step down as CEO of 21st Century Fox, according to a CNBC report.

The role will be filled by his son James, sources told CNBC. “Rupert Murdoch will continue to be the executive chairman of Fox, while his son Lachlan would also become an executive co-chairman of the company,” adds the report.
