New fund from Sun Life Institutional Investments

Sun Life Institutional Investments (Canada) has launched a fund that focuses on short-term private fixed income for institutional investors. It’s called the Sun Life Short Term Private Fixed Income Plus Fund.

The fund was designed to address the near-term market need for higher-yielding investment returns over traditional asset classes. The fund invests in a portfolio of short-term private and public fixed income and floating rate assets. It’s benchmarked against the FTSE TMX Canada Short Term Corporate Bond Index.
