Russell Investments Canada want to change the investment objectives of two of its funds: the Enhanced Canadian Growth and Income Portfolio, and the Enhanced Canadian Growth and Income Class Portfolio.

The company is proposing the funds include foreign and Canadian equities in their strategic allocation. It also wants to change the names of the funds to the Russell Global Strategic Income Portfolio and Russell Global Strategic Income Class Portfolio.

If the changes are approved, the funds will adopt a global approach.

Full details about the proposed investment objective changes will be mailed in December to investors of record. A special meeting of investors will be convened on or about January 13, 2014 to approve the changes. If the above changes are approved, they will take effect on January 14, 2014. staff
