ScotiaMcLeod team moves to Macquarie

Macquarie Private Wealth has acquired a $120-million Calgary-based team from ScotiaMcLeod.

Adam Woodward and John Reyes, who began working together three years ago, bring on-book assets worth $120 million. They also bring off-book assets in the public venture capital business, which generated more than $2.75 million in the last 12 months.

Woodward was a broker at Blackmont Capital from January 2006 to March 2009, and left before Macquarie acquired Blackmont in October 2009.

The Woodward Asset Management team also includes Dave Wilder, the team’s business development associate; Dave Hudson, investment services associate; and Stacey Reeves, who provides additional administrative support.
