Bridging Finance Inc. launched a new fund of funds that invests in the alternative credit space.

The Bridging Fern Alternative Credit Fund, developed in collaboration with BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited, is designed to allow retail investors to “gain exposure to certain funds and fund managers that are typically only available to institutional investors,” David Sharpe, CEO of Bridging Finance, said in a release.

The new fund attempts to “generate positive absolute returns while preserving capital and with a low correlation to traditional asset classes,” the release stated.
