Madonna auctions painting for $7.2 million

Singer Madonna has raised more than $7 million for charity by selling one of her paintings, reports Wall Street Journal.

The Fernand Léger piece “Trois femmes à la table,” painted in 1921, sold at a Sotheby’s auction for $7.2 million to a South American bidder.
