In depth: climate change and investment management
Webinar brought to you by RBC Global Asset Management
Find out why climate change is one of the top Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues for investors, and what RBC GAM is doing to integrate it into their investment process.
The impacts of climate change are systemic and unprecedented. They’re also already apparent. While climate change has the potential to affect the global economy, the economic impacts on specific markets, regions, and investments are complex, varied, and uncertain. In this session you will learn about the science of climate change, how climate-related risks and opportunities impact investments, and discuss approaches for integrating climate change into the investment process. We will explore what role can investors play by engaging with companies to motivate action.
In this webinar that aired live on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 1:00 pm ET, find the answers you and your clients want to know. Why is climate change material to my investments? How can you assess its impact on a portfolio? What is climate scenario analysis and why does it matter? How are companies addressing climate change?
