How much do you make?

This past spring, we surveyed Canadian advisors to find out how and how much you’re compensated. We also asked investors how they think advisors are paid, which compensation models they prefer, and what services their advisors provide.

In this, and the next three issues we publish, Advisor’s Edge will reveal data from these two extensive surveys, which were conducted by the research division of Rogers Publishing Ltd. and made possible by Vanguard.

Below, we look at advisor compensation. We found Alberta advisors earn the most, Prairie advisors have the highest average AUM, and Quebec advisors have the highest gross revenues.
