Identity theft in Canada at an all-time high

Last year, more than 25,000 Canadians reported having their identities stolen, up 33% from 2013. In total, they lost more than $10.4 million dollars.

Prevent identity theft by destroying documents that list SINs, as well as paystubs, tax forms, credit card and utilities bills, and mail.
