BMO Asset Management Inc. has launched a bevy of new ETFs, including a suite of innovation ETFs and products focused on clean energy, fixed income and covered call options.

The five innovation ETFs cover autonomous technology, fintech, genomics and cloud computing, among other themes.

“These mega trends are top-down views that have proven to be the powerful market drivers that change the way we live, behave and interact with the world,” said Kevin Gopaul, president, ETFs, with BMO Global Asset Management, in a release.

The BMO Clean Energy Index ETF, which invests in clean energy companies around the world, brings the S&P Global Clean Energy Index to Canada, Gopaul said.

The asset manager also released a covered call technology ETF, which invests in global tech companies while mitigating downside risk through covered call options.

The BMO Short Term US TIPS Index ETF offers investors exposure to Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities, and the firm also launched a hedged series of its existing BMO MSCI USA ESG Leaders Index ETF.
