Toronto-based CI Investments Inc. announced on Friday that it is terminating two of its ETFs.

In a release, the firm said the CI First Asset Core Canadian Equity ETF and the CI First Asset Core U.S. Equity ETF will be terminated on or about Nov. 29.

CI said it would ask the Toronto Stock Exchange to delist units of both funds on or about Nov. 28.

Following the funds’ termination date, net assets of each ETF will be liquidated as soon as is practical, and the proceeds distributed to unitholders on a pro rata basis.
