Five new ETFs from Toronto-based BMO Asset Management Inc. began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange on Tuesday.

The firm launched three fixed income ETFs: the BMO BBB Corporate Bond Index ETF, the BMO High Quality Corporate Bond Index ETF and the BMO Canadian MBS Index ETF, the latter of which invests in pools of mortgage-backed securities insured under the Canadian National Housing Act.

BMO has also added two equity ETFs that invest in U.S. companies: the BMO S&P U.S. Mid Cap Index ETF and the BMO S&P U.S. Small Cap Index ETF.

Also on Tuesday, BMO announced the launch of a hedged series of the BMO Long-Term U.S. Treasury Bond Index ETF, which is now trading on the NEO Exchange.
