Franklin Templeton Canada has added to its ETF platform with three new funds that leverage sustainability expertise, the firm said in a release on Tuesday.

The Franklin Brandywine Global Sustainable Income Optimiser Active ETF is a fixed-income solution with environmental, social and governance integration. It invests primarily in the Franklin Brandywine Global Income Optimiser Fund.

The Franklin ClearBridge Sustainable Global Infrastructure Income Active ETF and Franklin ClearBridge Sustainable International Growth Active ETF invest in equities of sustainable issuers. The funds invest primarily in the Franklin ClearBridge Global Infrastructure Income Fund and Franklin ClearBridge International Growth Fund, respectively.

“Sustainable investing can deliver long-term value, enable stronger investment performance and provide better outcomes for our clients,” said Duane Green, president and CEO of Franklin Templeton Canada, in the release.

Franklin Templeton acquired Legg Mason in 2020, giving Canadian investors access to investment managers Brandywine Global and ClearBridge Investments, which specialize in sustainability.
