Harvest Portfolios Group launches 2 ETFs

Harvest Portfolios Group Inc. has launched two new ETFs: Harvest Global Resource Leaders ETF (Class A) and Harvest U.S. Bank Leaders Income ETF (Classes A and U). They started trading today on the TSX.

Harvest Global Resource Leaders ETF aims to provide unit holders with quarterly cash distributions and the opportunity for capital appreciation. To achieve lower overall volatility of returns, the ETF will selectively write covered call options on up to 33% of portfolio securities.

Harvest U.S. Bank Leaders Income ETF aims to provide unitholders with monthly cash distributions, the opportunity for capital appreciation and lower overall volatility of returns compared to owning the U.S. bank leaders directly. To achieve lower overall volatility of portfolio returns, the ETF will generally write covered call options on up to 33% of portfolio securities.
