Assante Private Client (APC) announced a number of pricing changes to its wealth management platform for high net-worth clients on Monday.

APC, a division of CI Private Counsel LP, has a tiered management fee model where fees drop as a client’s invested assets grow. The firm has now reduced fees by an average of 25% and the number of tiers has been consolidated, APC said in a release.

Management fees have also been unbundled from the advisor service fee “to give advisors and their clients more flexibility,” the release said.

Additional changes have been made to allow more tax-efficient use of distributions in non-registered accounts. Distributions can now be used for fee payments or portfolio rebalancing, or can be reinvested into portfolios, based on a client’s personal tax situation.
