BMO alters mutual fund lineup

BMO Investments has made changes to its mutual fund lineup.

Effective August 9, 2013, the banks says its Solutions family of funds will be renamed as follows:

  • The BMO Income Solution will become the BMO SelectTrust Security Portfolio;
  • the BMO Conservative Solution will become the BMO SelectTrust Conservative Portfolio;
  • the BMO Balanced Solution will become the BMO SelectTrust Balanced Portfolio;
  • the BMO Growth Solution will become the BMO SelectTrust Growth Portfolio; and
  • the BMO Aggressive Growth Solution will become the BMO SelectTrust Equity Growth Portfolio.

Additionally, the risk rating of the bank’s SelectTrust Security Portfolio will switch from “low-to-medium” to “low”, effective July 26, 2013.

BMO adds the following funds will no longer be available for new purchases through registered plans, starting August 12, 2013 (except when it comes to some previously established continuous savings plans):

  • SelectClass Security Portfolio
  • SelectClass Balanced Portfolio
  • SelectClass Growth Portfolio
  • SelectClass Equity Growth Portfolio
  • Security ETF Portfolio Class
  • Balanced ETF Portfolio Class
  • Growth ETF Portfolio Class
  • Equity Growth ETF Portfolio Class
