BMO Investments proposes fund mergers

Toronto-based BMO Investments Inc., the manager of BMO Mutual Funds, intends to merge certain fixed income and balanced funds to streamline its product suite, the company announced Friday.

Proposed fund changes are as follows:

  • BMO Laddered Corporate Bond Fund will be merged into BMO Core Bond Fund.
  • BMO Fixed Income Yield Plus ETF Portfolio will be merged into BMO Fixed Income ETF Portfolio.
  • BMO Balanced Yield Plus ETF Portfolio will be merged into BMO Balanced ETF Portfolio.

The fund mergers are subject to unitholder and regulatory approval. If approved, the mergers will be effective on or about Apr. 5.
