CFA Institute names new managing director for Americas

Stephen M. Horan is the CFA Institute’s new managing director for the Americas region, the association announced Monday.

Horan has held the role on an interim basis for six months while also serving as the organization’s managing director for credentialling. Peg Jobst takes over the credentialling role on an interim basis.

Prior to joining the CFA Institute, Horan worked as a principal at an advisory firm, a financial analyst, a forensic economist and a professor of finance, the release said.
