CFA Society Toronto appoints new board leadership

CFA Society Toronto appointed Brenda King as chairwoman of its board of directors following the society’s annual meeting on Wednesday.

“It is a great honour to be given this opportunity to serve as the chair of CFA Society Toronto’s Board of Directors for the fiscal year 2021–2022,” King said in a statement. “In the coming year, I look forward to working alongside my fellow board members in executing our new three-year strategic plan.”

Robert Cultraro will serve as past chairman, and Mari Jensen was appointed vice-chair.

The board also welcomed three new members: Heather Cooke, board member at large; Karl Cheong, member services; and Aaron Vale, programming vice-chair.

Grace Cleary-Yu and Kathrin Forrest are departing board members.
