CI Financial reported preliminary assets under management as of July 31 at $138.6 billion, a 0.3% gain from the previous month and up 15.3% from a year ago.
The firm’s total assets of $182.8 billion were up $22.5 billion, or 14%, for the 12-month period, and increased 0.5% through the month of July, a release said.
CI’s average assets under management for the quarter-to-date were $139.1 billion, versus $139.5 billion for the second quarter of 2018, a 1% drop. Average assets under management for the year to date were $140.4 billion, a gain of $14.1 billion or 11.2% from the average for fiscal 2017.
Assets under advisement at Assante Wealth Management (Canada) Ltd. and Stonegate Private Counsel were $44.2 billion on July 31, representing an increase of $4.1 billion, or 10.2%, year over year, CI reported.
