Toronto-based CI Investments Inc. announced portfolio management changes to a number of its Harbour and Sentry-branded funds on Monday.

Greenwich, Conn.-based Altrinsic Global Advisors, LLC will serve as the new subadvisor to the Harbour Global Equity Fund, Harbour Global Equity Corporate Class and Sentry Global Monthly Income Fund beginning July 31. John Hock, Altrinsic’s founder and chief investment officer, will serve as lead portfolio manager.

The fixed-income portion of the Sentry Global Monthly Income Fund will continue to be managed by Toronto-based Marret Asset Management Inc. under the direction of Paul Sandhu, CI said in a release.

CI has also named Peter Hofstra, senior portfolio manager and head of research for Harbour Advisors, lead portfolio manager for five Canadian equity funds and portions of the Select Canadian Equity Managed Fund and Select Canadian Equity Managed Corporate Class. (For the complete list of funds, see CI’s press release.)

In a separate release issued Monday, CI announced that it had changed the risk ratings for 11 funds. The investment objectives, strategies and management of the funds remain the same.
