Toronto-based CI Investments Inc. has made one of its institutional equity funds available to retail investors.

The CI Munro Global Growth Equity Fund is now available in series A, F and P. Launched in January 2019, the fund invests in a portfolio of 20 to 40 global companies that are expected to benefit from important structural changes occurring in the world, a CI release said. The fund’s manager looks for companies that are underappreciated and mispriced in the market.

Melbourne, Australia-based Munro Partners, an independent investment manager with more than $2 billion in assets, is the fund’s sub-advisor.

In addition, CI announced a lower threshold for its 21 private pool mandates. CI’s private pools now have a minimum investment of $25,000 per pool, down from $100,000.

The pools, which were introduced in 2018, offer investors access to a broad range of asset classes, geographic regions and investment styles for a flat fee.
