CLIEDIS executive director to step down

Julie Parrott, the executive director of the Canadian Life Insurance Standards Association (CLIEDIS), is retiring at the end of the year, the industry group revealed today.

Parrott is staying on to recruit her successor and help her or him transition into the job. Plans for recruiting the next executive director will be on the agenda of CLIEDIS’s executive committee’s next meeting, scheduled for mid-June.

Parrott has been involved with CLIEDIS for 18 years.
