Financial Horizons Group acquires Ontario-based MGA

Financial Horizons Group has acquired ABEX Central Financial Services Ltd., a managing general agent (MGA) founded in 2006 that operates out of Barrie, Ont.

The ABEX Central Financial office in Barrie will be retained, as will key members of the ABEX team, a release from Financial Horizons Group said.

“This acquisition is another step in the strategic growth of Financial Horizons Group as the leading MGA and financial services company in Canada,” John Hamilton, founder and CEO of Financial Horizons Group, said in the release.
