Pension provider Blue Pier is launching a pension plan service for self-employed Canadian doctors, the firm announced on Wednesday.

Blue Pier provides Canadian employers with customized workplace pensions for their employees, with Blue Pier taking care of all aspects of pension administration.

“We are proud to launch the first national pension solution for Canada’s doctors, as part of Blue Pier’s broader goal of bringing pension coverage to all Canadian workers,” Blue Pier founder and CEO James Pierlot said in a release.

Physicians practising in British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario have now joined Blue Pier, the firm said.
